Kapnos Airport Shuttle operators have announced that separate routes to and from the island’s airports will be introduced during the winter holidays to cater for the increased number of travelers.
Routes to and from the airports of Paphos and Nicosia will continue to take place during Christmas and New Year.
“Around 67 routes take place daily between the two airports,” said Kapnos Airport Shuttle Director Pambos Kapnos.

“Out of that figure, 37 are for the Nicosia-Larnaca-Nicosia line, ten are for the Nicosia-Paphos-Nicosia line and another ten are for the Larnaca-Paphos-Larnaca line. Another ten lines also operate so that there is a link between the two airports themselves.”

The timetable has been altered during the Christmas holidays. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve will see routes being operated up until 9.30pm from Nicosia and up until 10.15pm from Larnaca Airport.
There have also been changes to the bus schedule for between Boxing Day (December 26) and January 2, 2016 with routes to commence at 12.30am from Larnaca Airport and 1.15am from Nicosia.
Routes from Nicosia will begin from Kyrenia Avenue (behind the Melkonnian School and opposite the police headquarters and from Larnaca on Egypt 11 Avenue opposite the Faneromeni Church.
